As a Road Safety Auditor, you'll combine engineering expertise with AI-powered insights to assess road networks, identify safety risks, and help agencies make data-driven decisions that save lives.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct Road Safety Audits (RSA) and safety assessments for road infrastructure projects.
  • Review road geometry, intersections, signage, markings, barriers, pedestrian facilities, and roadside assets.
  • Validate AI-generated safety observations and identify potential risk factors.
  • Prepare audit reports, recommendations, and technical documentation.
  • Support transport agencies, consultants, and infrastructure operators with safety improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with AI, GIS, engineering, and product teams to improve safety analytics.
  • Contribute to projects across multiple countries and road networks.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of road safety principles, traffic engineering, and transportation systems.
  • Experience conducting road safety audits, inspections, or transportation studies.
  • Knowledge of international road safety standards and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical report-writing skills.

Good to Have

  • Certified Road Safety Auditor qualification.
  • Experience working with highway authorities, transport agencies, consultants, or infrastructure operators.
  • Familiarity with iRAP, PIARC, Austroads, AASHTO, or equivalent road safety frameworks.
  • Exposure to GIS, road asset management, or digital infrastructure platforms.
  • Interest in AI, Computer Vision, and data-driven infrastructure technologies.
